Like Maxine I too can only pick one or t'other (Scorch versus Eclipse) having been to neither before am totally confused which I should opt for. I know it's a personal choice but would be nice to have the two threads side by side for some sort of comparison

Accomodation at Skeggy does it for me alone. Its wonderful. As its going to be warmer hopefully the little 10mins trek backwards and forwards wont be an issue. Also, and more importantly, the great big get ya heart in your mouth roller coaster will be open next door LOL Definately gonna drag Scarface onto that one.
Southport is great and revues suggest great but bored with that for a bit.
like the newness of skeggy and cant wait to get back.
you should add a poll so we can see at a glance. <wink>
Well I'll be going to Skeggy once more with a bigger group this time round
If my new boss allows me I'll also escape to southport
Though that will probably be also down to finances.... see how my new pay works out
Me and Gav have paid a deposit for Skeggy, but I do really want to go to Southport as well.
We can't do both so we're still deciding.....it's 70% in favour of Southport at the moment, mostly due to the favourable reviews regarding the music in the blues room at Southport and the fact that I only enjoyed a few sets of music at Skeggy, mostly it was not my taste.
ooooooo, I can't decide, the pressure is giving me a headache, heeeeeelp!
Bed with a Mills and Boon - dont be silly JL.....
I mean...... i like to be able to sleep when i need it, i cant when im close to the venue cause the noise keeps me awake, im a light sleeper. Alright once im asleep generally but getting asleep, has to be quiet.
I also would love to do both but no holidays left. Some of us have to work 5 days a week and only get 20 days hols a year.
I'm booked for Skeggy and can't wait - I loved it in Feb. I was also at Southport just gone - loved that too - and (money and leave permitting) am hoping to book for Scorch too. Both weekenders were very different but very good in their own ways.
I wouldn't be well enough for SP in May so not an option. Am hoping to be recovered enough for Skeggy in June - but will still need to take it easy if I am.
I'm booked for Eclipse in June. It'll be my first one so looking forward to it/being able to compare it to the brilliant time i had at Blush.
Would love to do Southport again in May as well but money/holiday isn't the issue, it's more to do with non-dancing OH! I have to spread out my weekenders
I'm on holiday when Scorch is on (commiserating my 30th ) but will be at Eclipse in Skegness where hopefully this time I'll be able to dance instead of watch from the sidelines
Me and Mrs CRM (CRM-ette?) are going to be there, I went to Kirrie last year but this will be my first 'big' weekender, looking forward to it
