Oxford and your tush sounds very appealing - but there is a small but very important thing that prevents me. I am very ready, very willing, but sadly not very able at this present moment in time.

You'll have a great time. I've been couple of times and it's an amazing place. If you're anywhere near it go, at the very least, snorkelling in the Red Sea. Wow.

Thank you I am so ready for this break. It is a cruise on the Nile and a tango holiday to boot !!organised by a group from Windsor, Bailarin Tango. Inbetween the sight seeing trips, and sunbathing we will have milongas and lessons by a couple from Argentina, Los Ocampo,.!!!

As I'm feeling helpful I've looked this up and (hopefully) picked the right one of the 2 events listed on uk-jive in Solihull on Saturday. But it really does make it easier for us if you (or anyone else suggesting events) use this format next time:

Sat - Strictly Ceroc - Solihull.

    Love dance, will travel

Fri - Revdrop & Judith's Birthday Charity Freestyle - Leamington

This charity dance party is now FULL. That's for those who got their e-mail registration in early, and for those who have left it till the last minute - sorry!

The response has been fantastic. As Fletch says in an earlier post we have 300 dancers (mostly experienced) coming. There are therefore no longer any spaces for men or ladies, and quite a long waiting list for ladies. We hate saying 'No' but are having to.

Please do not turn up on the night if you haven't had written e-mail confirmation from me that your name is already on the list, as the security folks on the door will not allow you entry.

    Hiya,

You only need to book in advance for the workshops if you are a single man / woman as we might try to control the gender balance for the workshop.

As a couple you can safely pay on the night.

The party (with 2 rooms) starts at 9.30pm and you can pay on the night or book online!
    Franck.

    There's an A.P.P. for that!

Nah there is a beginner plus a real shy lass. One step at a time.

Besides if i go RH&B they might not forgive me. As i been politely hounding them to go a party since the parties have started up in Aberdeen.

Thumbs up Re: Who's going where? Weekend 20th/21st/22nd March 2009

Genevieve and I are going to Great Yarmouth for four-days of unadulterated Rock and Roll, Swing and Lindy - can't wait. There are around 8 live bands, including Jerry Lee Lewis' little sister, Bill Haley's Comets (those that are left of course), 80's chart toppers the Jets and many more.
