Being a male lead and fairly new, I would advise you to do as many classes as you can frolicals. You will really learn a lot.

Apparently, you need to watch out for low flying pussy (whether that's to avoid it or to catch it ).

As Astro said, go to lots of classes, remember that you will not remember everything so don't get frustrated. Try to remember only one from each class, if you remember more great, otherwise your brain will be frazzled.

I remember my first time at Camber, I did every class that I could and then danced till I was kicked out of the hall at 5 in the morning

    Enjoy

Hmmm. Do I need any apparatus for that? Baseball catchers glove? Or an umbrella?

    In my experience, no.

I remember a weekender last year when I couldn't get a bog-standard pair of black dance trainers, in a not-uncommon size 9, right at the start of the weekend at 18:00 on the Friday evening.

The choice in women's shoes may be wider, of course.
    Love dance, will travel

That's what I would want, but a bit smaller. Will bring my spare blochs.

    No they are very narrow.

Talking of shoes, where online can I look at a selection? I currently get away with a pair of trainers with very smooth soles. Would like something a bit more official! (But not breaking the bank! There's a crunch on you know)

    - not standing too much - I'm either dancing or sitting. That way all my 'on my feet' time is spent dancing and feet are resting otherwise.
