No I don't like this revisiting thing... I've changed an age bracket since the last time I did it

I'm happier with this poll. In the last one I was just in the 30-40.
    Now it's 31- 35.

Ah, but you're obviously an enthusiastic newcomer!

An experienced, wizened & lazy data analyst would know to design the poll to ask for year (decade? half decade? Whatever grouping!) of birth. That way the answers stay valid, and there's less work to do ...

    You'll learn, young paduan!

Aha!!! But no! .... cos that complexity would reduce the response rate!! ... so plan is to repeat the poll in March next year, hence enabling a modicum of time trending to go on!!!

How is this new poll ''improved''? I think it is ageist and discriminatory. I base my opinion on the way the boxes are broken down in five year slots up to the age of 51 then onwards 51 - 60, then even worse if your over 60 you are catagorised in a group up to 80yrs. What's that all about, don't people over a certain age deserve the same consideration that is afforded to the younger dancers?

Hmmm ... not wishing to question how representative this poll is ........ BUT, so far (at 59 votes) it suggests the majority of dancers are under 40. I don't know about other areas but my local scene looks like the majority are in their late 40's/early 50s. Views?

In my personal experience I would guess the majority have been in their early 40s to early 50s.

Re: Poll (new improved) age of MJ dancers

OK, OK, I have voted now.
(although I haven't considered my new age an improvement in decades)

The poll tips with the addition of another jiver who is looking at 50 from the wrong side of the temporal scale.

Yet another reality check for me, just to please the people who want this poll to better reflect their realities.

Phew, I turn 21 in a couple of months, glad I could creep into the youngest bracket in time
