Much like the out-dated, disfunctional website.

Yes, and when I get a newsletter, hotmail always asks me to mark it as safe or unsafe, (despite the fact that I've been marking them safe for 2 years) so there is a technical glitch somewhere.

Wanted to add that the floor was perfect to dance on.

As a Ceroc Metro attendee and a part-time web designer, I may put my pants on outside my trousers and offer Adam my services.... For some free entry of course!

I am sure Adam did mention a chance that he was going to get together with 'regulars' and 'forumites' and have a bit of a brain storm on what the punters wanted, but if my memory serves me correct it was quite a long time ago and it never happened. So it is something he has known about for a while. I would certainly be up for a meeting. For the sake of repeating myself it is such a shame when potentially he has something that could be so good.

I didn't realise we had to dance 3 dances in a row wearing a mask.

Luckily I had an even cheaper spare one I could see out of properly.

I wonder if the poll results on this thread being public had any impact on the attendance at the event?

Dont be silly Rob, your name wasn't on it, no need to avoid the place.

    You're first post Flamboyant Dave.

Double Trouble was your DWAS partner. Your costume was fab.

I didn't get a dance with you this time.

ahhhh, you haven't perfected your "stalk and grab" move yet Astro. Perhaps me and Trouble can give you a few lessons next time we see you.

    Here's the basics

    1. Spy your target and creep around the dance floor, all nonchalant like, to the nearest possible pouncable spot...this is called the "stalk".
    2. Keep a keen listening ear to gauge when the track is about to stop.
    3. As the song finishes and the previous follow goes to walk away, this is where you execute your "grab". Smile, grab the leads arm, firmly, hold on tight and don't let go. If they protest, just keep smiling and ignore their protestations. Whatever happens...don't let go until they are fully resigned to a full three minutes of dancing.

Works every time. Even David "The Shark" Bailey has been successfully DT'd

I went over to ask him for the last dance, but he had his coat on, bag in hand and was about to leave.

So I grabbed the nearest other guy.

The Victoria Tube line was not running that day due to planned engineering works.
