    Comic Relief - Lets Dance

I'm surprised - no one is talking about the charitable and funny
    Lets Dance for Comic Relief.

Its on iPlayer of course if you want to watch it.

The first one was of a very low standard but episode 2 was surprisingly good. So far the finalists are : Robert Webb with a brilliant take on the audition in "flashdance". Dick and Dom's Blues Brothers routine - which was ok as far as Dick was concerned (at least i think he's the smaller one) but Doms Dan Ackroyd was scarily perfect at times. Keith Lemon (who I normally do not find funny at all so i was pleasently surprised) danced with Phoenix Nights Paddy in a take on Baby and Johnny from Dirty Dancing and it...was...BRILLIANT Keiths "Baby" is also scarily accurate despite the tache (or because of? ). Extra bonus points surely for characters doing impressions so well...thats talent - and they kept the impressions going, including kissing when getting the judges opinion . Jo Brand also got through after doing a surprisingly good Britney Spears - loved the one piece costume she wore

I'll watch the next one - catch up people - its funny!!!

Agree but it feels really strung out - weighing in at 90 mins with only 15 mins of real content. Will & Jason are hardly riveting Saturday night entertainment.

Agree with your comments about the qualifiers.

Most of the 1st week also rans were awful - Biggins in particular. But this weeks weakest links (The Dragons IMO) were at least entertaining.

Will be recording the final 2 installments though

I don't think I know who he is in reality ? but I reckon he must have had some dance training somewhere in his past. He was amazing. I have a sneaky suspission he may have played down his potential, to make it slightly funnier!

I was amazed that despite her being twice the size of Britney, she actually really looked like her! It was hilarious

Also, I thought Vic Reeves wife (?) would make a good partner for Ian Waite in Strictly

Indeed, he did an effortless multi-spin the 2nd time round and his timing was always spot on. Robert Webb is most commonly known as an associate with David Mitchell - of "Mitchell and Web", "Peep Show" and the UK "PC vs Mac" advert fame.

Paddy & Keith were brilliant and deserved to win on Saturday

A lot of tv is like that though. Get yourself a PVR & you can cut out all the padding & adverts, - I could never go back to watching tv as it happens now

PVR? Is that what I call my 'digi-box'? (Ooo - er ). I don't watch live telly any more, and on the rare occasion I do, I find myself trying to >> the adverts!

Haven't even plugged in either for over 2 weeks, but I was at my mum's when the Flashdance routine was on - totally agree with Lory - that man's had training and I laughed my leg-warmers off.

Bit sorry I've missed some of the other stuff from the above comments, but will endeavour to catch the rest...

I wasn't sure about it when I heard the premise, but decided to chance it and watch from the beginning and what a joy it is turning out to be

The contestants have obviously put a lot of effort into it.

"Let's Dance for Comic Relief: Episode 2 is no longer available. Programmes are available for a limited number of days after broadcast. Why? "
