Don't go Terry - we love you!

First it was Eurovision (which I wont watch now he's gone), now Terry Wogan is threatening to leave radio two!

Who the hell will they get in to fill his boots? There just isn't anyone like him.

    I'm distraught!

Well he is about 170 years old!

Besides, I'm sure they can find another doddery old Irishman that can waffle a lot and press the wrong buttons. Are you available scarface?

I like listening to Terry on the way to work - love the Janet and John clips!

It will be sad when he retires.........

My school bus driver, Splosh, was always tuned in to Terry Wogan going and coming back.

It was he (Terry) who helped Dana's career, by playing her songs repeatedly.

    Anyone remember Dana?

Gutted. Let's hope he stays a while longer. (As long as they don't replace him with Johnny Walker - I don't enjoy it when he stands in

Yes and he also introduced the wonderfully talented Sinéad Lohan - Albums; No Mermaid and Who Do You Think I Am?

I'm still enraptured by "You're In My Love"

Terry Wogan, he's a DJ and TV presenter.

Been around a little while - I'm not that old.

    No. Terry Wogan.

So; who is the best person to replace him when he finally puts himself out to pasture? The talent vacuum keeps teasing us by threatening to leave then changing his blarney soaked, huge eared, addled mind. Who would you like to hear for eight seconds after you accidentally press the wrong button on your car stereo in the morning. Obviously it takes around eight seconds to realise that if you want to hear some music you're going to need to wait 45 minutes as he goes off on one reading out *****e poems and chatting up the traffic reporter only to finally hear 1 minute 20 of some forgotten artist (like Dana) for 1 minute 20 seconds as he needs to cut her short so he can talk some more poorly enunciated drivel? My suggestions would be:

    1. Chris Eubank
    2. Paris Hilton
    3. Vanessa Felts

I know these are three really annoying, self-important tossers who like the sound of their own voices too much. Meaning that they would all probably be cr@p at doing a radio show. Thus making them perfect candidates for the post using the current remit for the job

It'll be so sad to see the back of the old phart

    OK, now look.

Admittedly, I posted 'Terry who?', for a bit of a laugh.

But calling him a talent vacuum is a bit harsh, old chap. Surely you haven't forgotten The Floral Dance?

Eurovision Song Contest and Terry Wogan go hand in hand.

You got to have him taking the blatant **** in the background. Its the only reason i watch it.

    yes i know... Sad.

Astro, for information purposes, i have a number of buttons. Infact, 28 to be precise and Scarface knows how to push every single one of em. !!!

That must be some coat you're wearing.

Saw a guy wearing Scarface's leather jacket yesterday.

It was white with red and black embelliments, including SCARFACE in big letters vertically down the left-hand back.

I was too afraid to ask him how he'd come by it.
