Sorry DS, there are strict criteria / tests to be applied before you can see the 'Wit & Eloquence Section".
You must show an full understanding of grammar, spelling, use of the apostrophe and appropriate use of smileys, and that's just for starters.
You must demonstrate your ability to retort with wit (your above post is noted) and argue a point successfully with the Oracle!

Alternatively, you could just join the Intermediate class and get on with it!

    Franck.

Perth will not need street lighting that weekend with all the sparkles and glitz the forum contingent will be bringing

It will be one time of year when the great wall of china and Perth arena are the only two man made structures visible from space

    Franck.
Well having danced with the Lovely Linda (a wonderful experience) recently in Sydney - a tempting thought indeed.

As to dressing as your avatar ( I might get a little weary by the end of the night! ) Dancing with one hand only, also may get rather restrictive.

Workshops - I would be happy to run one or two, should people want them

Wow! What a great birthday party that would be James and Fi - just think of the Birthday dance - you'd need at least half a dozen records instead of the usual one to allow everyone the chance to cut in.

So make sure you keep either of these dates free for a bit longer, and I'll confirm which ASAP

    Franck.
My diary is starting to fill up & I may have to give up one of these dates - are we any closer to knowing which weekend it will be out of the 2 possibles?

    Thanks,
    David

Oops. Franck. Didn't you tell all the nice boys and girls. Or wasn't it totally definite??

Franck did tell me last week, that it was going to be the last weekend of September. But that there were some other details that needed to be finalised too.

So, maybe he was waiting on those....

    Steve

Maybe he did and I didn't spot it or it's on another thread somewhere?

Or maybe I'm not nice enough..

I shall now fence off the last two weekends in September i.e. get them ready so I can make them easily accessable.

Then once Franck confirms try and book a flight

    Hi David,

Things are moving on in the background, and I am trying to confirm a few more things, but it will now definitely be the last week-end in September (24th to the 26th).

I will post more details and info as soon as I have it all, but in the meantime, keep that week-end free (and take the Monday off while you're at it )
    Franck.

    There's an A.P.P. for that!

And now we've got that sorted we need an answer to the most important question.

What is the theme for the fancy dress...

    Only the Monday?????

So it's not going to be that good, then???

I thought the Scottish dancers were planning on welcoming us southerners, but maybe it's not going to be that good after all
