    How about:

    could of instead of could have
    seen instead of saw (I think that's a parochial problem)

    Recently crept in: gotten instead of got (it's American, not British English)

    My pet hates: ignorance of the use of collective nouns :-

    The team, crew, group etc. have instead of has
    Ceroc (The Company) don't understand instead of doesn't, etc

    The misunderstanding of plurals:-

    1 in 3 people have instead of has

    And worst of all:
    Pedants and people going off thread

    most of this post is gobbledygook to me

    the best spelling mistake I made was when I was trying to be sarcy to some one and said 'look sweety' insted of 'look sweaty', or the other way round you know what I meen.

    The funniest was when you said that some men use ceroc as a pickup joint and they just go to ceroc for the sauce.
