sounds like a kick in the teeth for freedom of speech...again! It seems it is easier to silence a foriegner. Luckily for society, its harder to get away with that at home. Remember the attempt to silence channel 4 for the Dispatches programme, saying it had been "heavily edited" so the meaning of 3 featured preachers was "completely distorted"; they were shown "calling for homosexuals to be killed, espousing male supremacy, condemning non-Muslims and predicting jihad." However, Ofcom found that the programme "dealt with the subject matter responsibly and in context", and the police had to apologise and "pay six-figure libel damage". So sometimes, "they" (whoever makes such policy) don't always get away with it.
