Does a guy called Graham run the bar there?

Where? The Travelodge or Saxon suite? (Either way I haven't a clue!)
There is a Travelodge in Dunchurch, which is about a 15 minute drive. A few people have stayed up this way before, when there have been events on at Daventry. I'll ask around and see what I can find out about accommodation. Unless there are people on here that can shed some light? I remember ClaireS and Tiggerbabe staying at that same Travelodge. I also remember the outfits!!

    Claire and I stayed at

    Travelodge Rugby Dunchurch Hotel
    A45 London Road
    Thurlaston

    Rugby
    CV23 9LG
    Tel: 0871 984 6099

It's only £39 per room, for the 18th July, at the moment.

It's a 1-room thing, so not likely, I'd have thought.

It is a 1-room 'thing', but not main room music. Think of a two room event without the main room As for Tango, it's entirely up to the DJ's what tracks they play, I'm sure, as forumites, they could come on here and answer that question for you.
I've no doubt that there will be some tracks you can Tango to though. Do I need to supply the rose for your teeth?

No, I wondered if he worked at Daventry Leisure centre. He's a bit of a card.

That's no help if you don't drive.

Plus there is no railway station at Daventry.

Is this another way to make some more money for a worthy cause?
You can request tracks but you have to pay for them...maybe the more the DJ dislikes the track, or the more popular the tune, the higher the price..?

    Just a thought.

I think even a donation of £1000 wouldn't allow the Bongo Song to be played!

Tickets are ready, so I will have them with me at Skegness this weekend for those that have asked me for them and don't want the hassle of sending me a cheque.

I'm hoping to make it down for this - but in the interest of the environment and my budget - wondering if anyone from edinburgh interested in car sharing?

I'm thinking about going but haven't quite decided whether to make it a flying visit (no pun intended, honest) or whether to make it a longer stay visiting folks in that neck of the woods...

    um, that'd be from stirling
