good luck with this venture.....
Well, you really have done it now! I am seriously impressed and if the dancing currently available in your neck of the woods is as bad as it seems to be then you have every chance of success. Just looking at a map shows the scope you have to draw in dancers from a wide area.
The web site really is excellent - great job on the design, layout, content and navigation. The only thing I thought was missing was some information about car parking.
I wish you both every success with this new venture. With the care and attention to detail you put into things I am sure that Stokies will soon become the venue of choice for the north midlands. Not sure if we will be able to make it to your opening night but we will certainly get to Stokies as soon as we can.
Good luck! Hope to make it there some time, fitness allowing!
Good luck with the venture Nath and Essie - its a bold and brave move (a bit like you both LOL)
What an innovative idea! The April event is going to have a second room with a difference, it's for the under 18's! Glad to see Tessalicious getting the chance to prove herself as a great blues DJ too. Really hope this works for you both, Stokie and Twirliebird.
Good luck with your venture. You seem to have thought very carefully about what dancers want and it looks as if you just might deliver.
A picture of the venue might have been a good idea.
Thanks Cru As we are starting with a blank sheet of paper we are able to provide what we feel is needed based upon what we have experienced first hand, and what we've been asked for.
If this format works then we will be able to repeat it and build something really cool for the younger dancers. I guess, like any innovative idea it's a case of - if you want it, you gotta support it.
Keep expecting the unexpected
There'll be plenty of pictures after the opening night I can assure you
I was at Bidds on Saturday with Genevieve for a different event. The dance floor is great and the room is quite...well...roomy!
Someone mentioned parking - the car park is quite large so you shouldn't have a problem.
Good luck to you two, I don't think we can make the first couple of dates but we'll see what happens later in the year.
So cross with myself for not being more organised ............
Have a fab time everyone and all the best to SB & TB on their new venture
- hope to make a future one
