Just trying to figure out whether Janette and I are going to be staying for the T-dance before I do our booking. Will definitely be at the inaugural event

Best of luck Stokie, if you can get some of The Ten there as well as a local crowd you'll be on to a winner I am sure. Nice to see someone not just talking about what they want but delivering it too.

Not sure about getting all of the 'ten' there. Although if you come along that'll just leave me nine more to pursuade

Thanks robd, and everyone else that's given us support, advice and help so far. We are just want to build something that WE would love to attend. That's why we've worked hard not to clash our dates with other people - we want to go dancing to the other good stuff too

    Hey Stokie/Essie,

You can count on me and Mariane being there and we'll probably bring a few others along with us.

Good luck with your exciting venture.

Re: Good luck to Stokie and Twirly Bird!!!

Best of luck with this, Stokebloke and Twirlybird. It's a bold plan and I wish you well. I'll certainly aim to attend at least some of the events, definitely worth the 1.5 hour drive for what's on offer.

I'm really pleased to have this kind of music/musicality-based event on Sat or Sun. I'm not keen on turning out on a Friday eve but a long session on a Sat is appealing, with the prospect of a reasonable night's kip afterwards making it even more so. I really miss relaxed Sunday tea dances as well, I have got totally out of the loop where these are concerned, it'll be good to have events within an easy drive from home.
