Lory I see that you have Jive+ Simon and Nicole workshop on the poll. I have just checked the website www.jiveplus.com and according to that it is on next week not this week. Here is a copy and paste from the website

Hopefully anybody thinking of going will double check.

Except that my post did not say anything about a workshop. Simon and Nicole run a weekly smooth jive class on Sunday evenings at Cowley. That is what I was talking about. It is true that they are also running an afternoon workshop but that is the following week and will precede their normal Sunday night class.
Sorry about that Lost Leader and Lory.
That Sunday class looks interesting. Heres the link if anybody is interested http://www.jiveplus.com/sunday.html.
Lost Leader does Coralie generally attend the class, as I owe her a visit?
I'm thinking of heading up to the freestyle in St Albans tonight and dragging Happy B along for some practice, as she is through from Bristol this weekend. What's it normally like? Any good?
I think we are gonna attemp Minstead tonight if the weather isnt to scary and most probably Hammersmith Tomorrow
Red Hot Jive....The Final Frontier...
It's not good.......it is the BEST!!
My various eulogies to the epicentre of Modern Jive that is St. Albans can be found at http://ceroc.blogspot.com/ (mildly entertainingâ„¢ of course).
Now - if Robin plays anything like his set from the Ice Party at St. Albans last week - then it will be great.

Bottom line: friendly atmosphere, good music, floor is fine, cakes, teas etc at 11pm.......and plenty of good dancers. (There is usually a sprinkling (or whatever the appropriate collective noun is) of Essex forumites to spice it up).
