    Hadn't thought about that

Thought it might get booked quickly but if people under 35 may be in pool not for me

There's a water park/splash world type place where all the brats should be and the Spa pool where they're unlikely to be because you have to pay for it.

Well, looking at the schedule it look like that Reds, which is the main large venue for the complex and featured heavily on the JA site, is off limits to dancers from 5pm-11.30pm. Which means that the 'main room' freestyle doesn't actually start until 11.30pm...

No one uses it much before that in Southport anyway. As long as the Blues room is available I'll be happy.

I don't see anything about a cabaret in the scans Lee posted either which may be because it's noted elsewhere in the booklet or may be because there will not be one if the main hall is unavailable before 11.30.

Yeah, I see what you mean.

That's fine for me though as I dont venture out until late and even then its to the blues room.

I guess that Reds must be hosting the Butlins cabaret shows. I just have to see that as I have heard so much about them from the TV documentaries and so on
Im sure it will be cheesy but it might actually be fun and cheesy?? Could be an entertaining thing to watch before dancing. I doubt it can compare to the excellent cabarets at Swish but, nevertheless, I actually enjoyed having the cabarets at Swish. Gave a short but welcome break from the dancing.

    What other type are there?

By the way, surely you mean a selection of warm Knickers on all weekend.

I'm wondering if the dynamic of the Blues Room will be challenged.

I'll happily join you in the Blues Room (but please be gentle with me I've not been dancing much recently) but I'm wondering if we'll be swamped by the bouncy crowd who can't get freestyling until 11:30. It'll be a shame if we can't get UCP for people thumping out pretzls and large expansive arm-jives.

Still, we'll know in marginally over 24 hrs

Just looked at the programme again. Looks like they have regular MJ stuff on in Arthurs from 8ish.

So it is! Cool, that means when those of us that come out for our blues/wcs hits at 12ish, the main room dancers will all disappear into Reds.

Well Paul, if you miss it I know of a venue or two near Brighton where you can see it regularly going on .

Leaving in a mo as have class to teach first then going off to a hotel overnight.

One thing I am looking forward to is the return of a brilliant dancer who had left these shores for Paris.

Don't be upset that you can't follow a pretzel yet DT, maybe it would help you to get it if your leaders shouted out 'PRETZEL' each time before launching into it?
