I reckon, all in all, that Moondance by Michael Buble is my Signature Tune.
I've always loved dancing to it ever since the first time I heard it, at Ceroc, nearly 4 years ago.
What song do you most identify with dancewise?

With so many tracks I've lived and loved through the years, this is difficult.....but perhaps the one that shines most for me, is "All That Jazz - Ute Lemper"
mine and barbs' tune is smooth by santana
it was our wedding song we still love dancing to it and never get bored of it
The song that gets me dancing is Bonnie Tyler - Holding out for a hero an absolute mental tune and a belter to dance to!
I have to give two, mostly because they get such different styles of dancing out of me...
Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps (either Doris Day or Cake) - mostly because it's a tango, rhumba and foxtrot all in one song. This gets me upright, shoulders well back; I stay well grounded and use a lot of closed holds and very slotted dancing.
Common People (Pulp) - big rock track that really works for me. It's a big, spacey track so it gets big, circular moves. It's basically a crescendo, going up a notch with each verse, so it builds as it goes through. The only down side is it's long: a shade under six minutes. I also like their Disco 2000 for the same reasons; it's a bit shorter and not quite as dynamic musically, but still a great guitar-based track.
The one song that makes me close my eyes and get totally lost in is 'The Way You Move', Earth Wind & Fire. Scrummy
I just love Twisted by Santana - although it doesn't get played that often as it's pretty long.
When I first started dancing the tune that I could not sit out was Precious Time, Van Morrison, still love that song (like the words) but it has now been replaced in affections by Passion of the Dance, Touch and Go under the name of David Lowe, Dream Catchers
Stray Cat Strut?
The two most fabulous dances I have had this year have been to "Mercy" and generally this has been a winner for me, even though it is played almost every time I go dancing. I have been lucky enough to dance it with some of probably the best Ceroc/jive dancers in this area including Centralex (before he left), Stokie, Martin, Captain Fantastic and that really tall guy who won a jive competition . I would love to hear "Warwick Avenue" played sometime too.
I also really like dancing to Stray Cat Strut with Rod Ambridge!
Some Bridges Need Burning - Keisa Brown
My absolute highlight of the year was dancing to this in the blues room at Bliss.
Ahhhhh blissful Just thinking about it brings the hairs up on the back of my neck.
