Don't tell me, you were at the Gloucester freestyle....

Actually, I know you were at Daventry and it's gracious of you to say that, particularly as we haven't seen eye to eye on here very often.

I guess the issue for me is the perennial leader's conundrum of being bored with one's own repertoire since that's all that we get to experience for the whole evening. For followers, the experience can be a bit more variable (which is sometimes good and sometimes not so good I suppose)

. . as someone who was on the other end of Rob's arm I can say it felt quite good too

Having said that, the only thing that spoilt Daventry for me was the lack of WCS dances I had

and if the last Rugby freestyle is anything to go by I don't suppose my WCS addiction will be satisfied tonight either

Yeah, I really am sorry about that - still , Gerry will be making a special guest appearance.

Well, it's an MJ event isn't it? I mean, it seems a bit strange complaining about the lack of WCS at an MJ event...

Are there no WCS events to go to?

Now don't you go clouding the issue with fact!!

FWIW, I had a great night and the bonus that my back held out for most of it helped no end!!

I think NG was commenting on the fact that there was a fair amount of music at Dav suitable for WCS but she couldn't find a leader willing or able to dance WCS with her to those songs. May be wrong but that's how I read it.

If there weren't >15,000 posts to look through I am sure I could find a post of yours commenting on lack of music suitable for tango at a previous MJ night (Hammersmith springs to mind for some reason)

Fair enough - I read it as a critique of the event.

It's my cunning plan, I hide everything incriminating by my vast quantity of rubbish.

Probably loads - but that's just me default-whingeing, not a venue critique.
