    well I've certainly been drunk more than a handful of times, and probably will again, but i must admit having fun and staying sober can have its good points as long as those around you are in the same state if those around you are drunk and you are sober . . . you cant understand em, you begin to feel left out, and you want to get drunk yerself.

    at least when your sober you dont get a hang over (unless your on that bloody awful non alcholic lager, which gave me the pain without the pleasure) but you have no excuses for what you may have done, and you can also remember what you've done

    I'm with you on this one! I hate the feeling of not being in control, so I don't often "tie one on" although it has been known...lol. Like you, I prefer to remember if I had fun or not. I rarely drink alcohol when dancing either, mainly cos when I come off the dance floor I need a good long drink, so I usually stick to water or squash.

    and then again remaining sober when oterhs are drunk can be fun.............you can people watch and see what others are up to

    Did that a couple of times................by accident really after a works Cheese and wine and fascinating listening to and watching people when they are drunk..............especially who is chatting up who .............fascinating
