I got an email from Franck today, (well, probably not, it was more likely a group message)
"Hi Brian
All the Festive parties are booking fast and we are almost sold-out for the Glasgow party on Saturday 13th December in the Rutherglen Town Hall with only 20 tickets left. If you are planning on travelling on Saturday make sure you pre-book your ticket or we will have to turn you away."
So I clicked the link and got on the Ceroc workshop booking page.
I have to ask the question "Was the booking page coded by a trained monkey, a couple of 10 year old kids or simply inept programmers?"
Why, why, why couldn't I book 2 tickets? One for me and one for Jacqui, instead of having to go through the booking process twice? Can you imagine the fannying about if booking for a few pals?
I'll also be asking for a 3 quid refund because the system wouldn't accept Jacqui as being a Ceroc member and hit me for a £3 membership fee for her.
If this is the way forward for Ceroc, I can see venue organisers who still have the friendly booking method of paying at the door, taking punters away from Ceroc simply because of its non-friendly online booking system.
I booked our Edinburgh Hogmanay party night last week.
Doddle - I gave DD 30 quid, he gave me 2 tickets
