If you are with Eon for power get Tesco's points from your bill.
With the tesco vouchers swap them for vouchers for restaurants at £2.50 tesco voucher = £10
The Slug n lettuce used to be part of that deal but are stopping but still loads of others.
club card deals are great you get 4 times your clubcard vouchers worth in all sorts of thing for example we have joined the english heritage for £16 worth of vouchers and we have done £50 worth of cafe rouge vouchers for £12.50

I'd say, before your sucked in to any bargain on the high st, go home and check the item (with exact model no.) on the internet.
I've always found that the shops can't match the price, even though they'll say, 'never knowingly undersold', when pushed on this, they admit, they don't include internet shopping.
