I've accused myself does that count?

You weren't my inspiration for the question Maxine but yes I suppose it counts.

Re: "I didn't get a dance with you tonight"

I say the above when at the end of a nights dancing I have seen people for the first time that evening whom I love to dance with and I hadn't known were there, or had seen them briefly and then they disappeared. For me it is said as a compliment to the person. I am not of the opinion that people mean it in a telling off kind of way, because we all know how time passes so quickly when we are dancing, and the night is sometimes over before you know it. I suppose it has become part of the social niceities between dancers.

Does waiting on the edge for someone you've spotted and want to dance with constitute being a stalker, if yes then guilty as charged your honour
if you love the life you live then you'll get a lot more done

I can see we're going to have to teach you about the birds and the bees...

    .

You see, when a Daddy fungus spore meets a Mummy fungus spore(*), and they love each other very much, they look for somewhere nice and moist to have their baby spores, such as dancers' feet. The spores multiply, causing lots of unpleasantness, and of course there is always a risk of them mutating into a new virulent form than turns the entire human race into zombies. All die. Oh the embarrassment!

So you can see how vitally important it is for Ceroc to dry the dancers' feet. The survival of the human race could depend on it.

(*) Or, if the Daddy fungus spore is socially challenged, it's sufficient for him to love himself very much, I believe...

I unashamedly admit to stalking people.. it is fun in the "i want a dance kinda way" not the scary way

I am not ashamed to admit to a bit of stalking . I have always called it sharking though, I have even made the fin sign above my head so that Maxine knows that I am off to catch my prey.....

I love the term Sharking, reminds me of Uni days, when you spot a hot chick and go and try your luck! - Your mates being fully supportive, do the sharking sign, just to add any embarisment they can... Of course, after a few pints embarisment factor is low!

I didn't realise who you were at Southport in June, until I saw the photos a week later on facebook.

Don't worry Jan, he sounds like he's up his own ass.

Yes and yes - there are some weirdos at Ceroc. I suppose you will get a percentage of weirdos in any sphere.

Re: "I didn't get a dance with you tonight"

I find that i end up apologising to people i missed having a dance with cause they normally come up and say where have you been, why did we not get a dance... you know the sort of thing. I always apologise and its genuine when i do.

I dont think ive ever thought... oh bloody hell, i didn't get to dance with him/her.....

In the early days i used to think.. ooh that persons avoided me tonight or why has he not asked me for a dance, you know the usual self doubts us dancers have now and then.

Not now though. I just dont think anything.

I think if ive had a good nights dancing... doesn't matter who is left or who has not danced with me really, ive had fun and so have they no doubt. There is always next time.xxxxx

To be honest he seems like a nice guy and I was amused rather than offended by the comment. It just got me thinking about how stalking/sharking/hanging around ready to pounce etc.. might be perceived by the "victim"

Nearly missed out on a dance with one of my all time favourite dancers last night, whom I have not seen for a couple of years. Luckily I just spotted him before the last couple of dances and with my finely tuned stalking/sharking skills I was in there - result
