A clean floor is a must for me.
I will avoid a venue I enjoy if the floor is sticky because I know I won't be able to slip inside the music if my dancing is wooden.
When the floor is sticky you have to lift your feet up a lot and can't slide the feet on the floor without risking injury. Also I won't be able to spin on it.
A tinny, fuzzy sound system also can put me off as likewise I won't get in the music, but the sticky floor is the most off-putting, especially if talc is not put down or disallowed.
I enjoyed being able to slide my feet around at the Bedford Corn Exchange Friday.
Ceroc Central (S) has dropped lessons from freestyles. I got there early, determined to get the dancing going ASAP. To my joy I was able to get it started ten minutes before official start time.
How do you all feel about lesson/no lesson for yourselves?
- Does it clash with work
- Who's DJing
- How far is it
- What time does it finish
- Cost 'n stuff like that......
That's pretty much the order of things for me
