Greenwich Xmas Freestyle looks your best bet.
Easy to get to by public transport - although a cab back into central London probably wouldn't break the bank if you had to do it.
A friend and I are going to be in London, prob staying somewhere centralish and reliant on public transport over the weekend 5th-7th Dec...we'd love to dance on the Saturday night (6th) but as far as I can see on UK jive, it's quite a journey out to any of the events advertised ( Jive Nation - Ware, Club Ceroc - Uxbridge...)
Does anyone know of anything else on that weekend that's a shorter journey? Or can anyone tell us if they reckon it'll be worth the trip to one of those two?

I'd recommend Uxbridge over Jive Nation as I haven't been to Jive Nation. Uxbridge was my regular venue for a good 3 months or so. It's a good venue. Friendly folk, good atmosphere, good dancers and Alan (the chap who runs it with his wife Sue) is a good DJ. They usually kick the night off with a class - the Teachers are very good and get people into the spirit of things quickly.
Getting there is easy and parking only costs £1 all night at the Chimes Car Park.
There is a bar - and they are strict that dancers must consume drinks only purchased from the bar. The drinks are reasonably priced - a pint of cold water is 50p from what I remember.
