I go home take a shower, get my jim jams on and and have a nice cup of tea.
I then go to bed and start normal activities. Brings out the beast in me dancing.
Im talking about snoring of course.
Talking to Ghost and Ken last Friday at Negracha's, and it turns out they both have "post-Milonga" things they do.
For example, Ghost paints - - and Ken writes poetry.
But that's coz they're posh Tangueros. Others have less arty pursuits - I've occasionally had a sinful-but-gorgeous chicken shish kebab
So, what are your post-dance things?

Nothing that interesting really.
Creep about the house trying not to wake my non-dancing husband, read my post that I might not have read, and scavenge for something semi interesting to eat from the fridge.
Make myself a pile of crackers with marge and marmite on them, and munch through them as I go online or watch late night tv.
Mmmm Marmite....
Tea and hot buttered toast with Marmite (or possibly cold pizza) - after a lot of chatting and giggling on the way home!!
I go straight to bed usually!
Well if he's still awake, I'll start yabbering excitedly at Beo (who even if he's still awake, is usually only half so ) about the evening's dancing (or complaining if I've not had a good time).
If he's not, then I attack the cheese. Cheese and biscuits, cheese on toast, nibbling cheese... I'm usually hungry Also a shower, and if I'm really awake then I'll have some camomile tea and watch something nonsensical on TV. Used to love coming in and watching Two Pints of Lager
1. Dissect every single dance that we have had between us on the car journey home (which is normally a trek).
2. Take the dog out for his last wee of the night.
3 Grab a mug of horlicks and a choc biscuit whilst taking off my make up.
4. Recount the dances in my head (my alternative to counting sheep)
Like Jay Jay said we always discuss the eve on the way home, helps keep it alive and what she omitted to say is we normally have a couple of mints (we know how to live)
Then when I get home make myself a slice of toast and of course a satsuma, I’m always hungry after dancing because I never eat before I dance.
Have a quick shower and creep into bed so as not to wake my husband up as it is usually 2 or 3 in the morning by the time I get home.
Lastly and weirdly like Jay Jay I go through dances in my head as I am drifting off (we obviously spend too much time together)
Sweat....
A couple?....are you sure, isn't that going a bit far?....best just stick to one, just in case.Like Jay Jay said we always discuss the eve on the way home, helps keep it alive and what she omitted to say is we normally have a couple of mints (we know how to live)
Good idea for a thread David!
Depending on where and who I go dancing (with)....
- Weekly classes while I'm out and about in the field with work; cup of tea, check of emails, sleep!
- Local weekly classes when I actually get to sleep in my own bed; chat with my dancing friends (who I give a lift back to) about the night, THEN cup of tea, emails, bed! Sometimes I get cuddles as well depending on who I give the lift back to....
- Weekend freestyles (esp when I don't have to get up at stupid o'clock the next morning); glass of wine or G&T, chilling session with friends/cuddles with other half, watching cheesey films (the last was Back To The Future!), sleeping in!
I'm sure there's a theme there LOL
I take the dog for a walk, and I actually enjoy walking around midnight. Then I make a cup of tea and check emails and the forum before heading to bed.
Work comes to early the next morning though
If a bottle is open, glass of red wine
somtimes a nice bowel of Cornflakes
