Dundee Fancy Dress (1st Nov) - inspiration?

Just about sorted out someone to sit on the kids, so now I'm looking for inspiration for a costume that can be danced in, won't be too hot, is inexpensive, and goes with black & whites (and isn't Flower Man).

Just dressing smart or as a 40's gangster/ bugsy character seems a bit of a cop-out. I have a couple of ideas, but looking for some ideas to spark the neurons.

    ideas :

how about my other idea "Speedo Man"

Naughty Schoolgirl ? That'd be VERY funny

"goes with black and whites" gives me an idea - pick either Nun or Zebra

or go as Master Chief or Gordon Freeman to impress the geeks in the room

not sure WHICH obvious one you are thinking of, maybe BatGirl, but I'd prefer the rather obvious Vampire

You as a naughty schoolgirl?? thats wouldn't be something I would rush out to see, but turn up to Dundee on the 1s and there will probably a view that will mentally scar you for years to come!

I would love to dress up as Master Chief or as an elite! of if I could carry it off a Hunter!

Well I used to have one, but it got lost in one of my many house moves . It wouldn't take too much effort to run another one up - says she without a sewing machine Mind you, it would be very hot to dance in.

    LOL

How about a "prisoner" in stripes? My brother went as an electrocuted prisoner to a "Villains" fancy dress do a few years ago - black and white striped trousers/loose shirt, hair gelled up to stand on end, broken manacles round the wrists and white/black makeup (like Beetlejuice), he came second!

Would love to see what you've finally decided on come 1st Nov
