    Smile Utopia Twisted Masquerade Ball

I see that the Utopia folk are hosting a Twisted Masquerade Ball at Christmas. (Only 9 weeks away ) I know there was massive discussion following the first Twisted event and it is heartening to note that Rocky et al have taken opinions and feedback on the chin and introduced a whole swathe of yummy new extras. For starters there are some daytime classes, for those folks who may have been a bit intimidated by the Utopia 'legend', plus some others just before the freestyle. Then of course there is the huge bonus of the separate Blues room which will hopefully please those who said they wanted that. Personally I liked the mix, but that's just me! Marc is doing some DJing , fantastic news, along with Dave, Vince & Nigel it looks like from the website. Ladies, we have another opportunity to break out the glad rags and hide all the bad bits under a mask. How glam! Anyway, I'm really looking forward to it......already booked Ooo- and don't forget the lure of cake, chips and cups of tea etc from midnight!!!

Have booked too and really looking forward to it
Like the sound of the blues room with Nigel sounds like a more traditional blues mix – Please don’t jump on me about my description.

    I'm booked too

Please could you guys at Utopia remove the option for payment via American Express though as I got all the way to the end of the booking procedure, filling in all the info etc before I was then told that American Express wasn't accepted and so I had to start all over again

I'm actually organised this time, and have bought my ticket! No last minute rushing around for me trying to find a ticket, for a change!

So, whats the dress code (apart from the mask )

Are we doing dressy and/or long dresses and the men in Tuxedo's?

As per web site for dress code......

"The wearing of a mask will be a compulsory requirement to gain entrance. Other than that please feel free to wear any sort of fancy dress, evening wear or something flamboyant and festive. Please make the effort and join in the party atmosphere – most do!"

....So "any"......I might go for a Mark Foster 'mesh' top.

    (Over my cashmere jumper).

    Right..........look out Chesham...........

Would go to this event as I have relatives up that way and am visiting, but after many early years of MJ where I enjoyed the odd fancy dress, I now loathe it with a passion for some reason. Even just a mask! Blah!
