    BBC iplayer

When watching iplayer (to catch up on strictly) it stops to buffer about every 10 seconds - is there anything i can change on my settings to stop it doing it?

    Thanks

haven't had this problem - but there is a download option which would mean you wouldn't have that problem.

It's a connection thing I think - too slow either at your end or too much demand at theirs. I agree with Yliander - simply download it and watch it later, I always do it that way anyway.

A word of warning about downloading if you're on a capped bandwith allowance - the file sizes can be quite large. For example, a 90min show can weigh in at a shade under 700MB!

Also, if you're watching a downloaded copy and suffer from stuttering (the playback not you obviously ), try using the 'Full Screen' option - that cures it for me

It means either the download is too slow, or your computer is.

To cure the first one, pause the playback for a minute or two and find something else to do.

To cure the second one, buy a new computer, or find out what's slowing your present one down.
