NB. Ceroc have complained about the floor, so the floor should be ok.
I am just leaving to go to the Winning Post - Twickenham Boogie - a 40's swing night - got a flower in my hair and a 40's style top and here I go

Just thought I'd report back. I ended up going to Funky Bloo Munkey in Chorleywood, and this time I really enjoyed the music - lots of funky stuff with a little bit of blues chucked in there as well - and, overall, had a good night, with some memorable dances. I even earned myself a shower when I got home (that's probably more info than you wanted).
Managed to keep away from the cakes.

FBM worked well for me too - a nice mix of music and a wide enough range of experience that I didn't feel I had to work too hard every dance
Well I also went to FBM .. yeah it is a long way from Doncaster but Jiving Dan had this mad idea and we thought yeah why not! Walked in.. terrified to see WCS .. but then thought... fcuk it.. i can do this! Thanx to everyone who put up with my attempt at WCS.. great to meet grahamb off the forum and sorry if i didn't get round to meeting other new forumites.. i was a little terrified to ask the good wcs dancers to dance but loved watching it.. even had a few blues dances
Special mention to Northantsgirly for putting the mad idea in our heads and to tsh for lots of dances and making me feel a bit more at ease... even tho i probably did giggle way too much
Would love to try this venue again tho.. not sure my travelling partners would tho
Found the old 'Bump & Hustle' quite disappointing on Friday. Music was poor in the earlier part of the evening a bit too bouncy bouncy, but did enjoy sets by Marc Forster (as always ) at beginning and the end of the night. Lots of regular faces missing, I think it was a case of too many choices for places to go. Did have some good dances tho DTS , JiveLad . Mr Darcy and DB amongst others, thank you.
Berko last night was particularly good, lovely to end the weekend on a high.

Great to meet you and Jiving Dan....respect to you for coming down Hope you can make it againWell I also went to FBM .. yeah it is a long way from Doncaster but Jiving Dan had this mad idea and we thought yeah why not! Walked in.. terrified to see WCS
Thanks to Northantsgirly and yourself for the dances.......
Another fab night at FBM
Bit quieter than usual but there were other WCS events on the same night/weekend. Keith played his best set yet although he did manage to play one of my requests while I was still putting my shoes on - serves me right for being late!
It was great to see Caz and Dan - can't believe you guys drove all that way
Had a lovely Night Club 2-Step dance with Graham at the end of the night - sorry it took me a few bars of music to twig what we were supposed to be dancing Graham - I know we had spoken about doing it over coffee but I have a memory like a sieve these days loved the dance though!
