Hmm... this is all sounding quite attractive. What is the typical content of the workshops? I presume they are optional?

Oh, and anyone got any dates for 2009?

Would love to go on one of the JA holidays this winter, but unfortunately Claire hasn't got any holidays left.

All the workshops are optional. What is included in the workshops I think reflected who the teachers were as I think the content was left pretty much up to them.

Therefore Howards were very much Bluesy based and his technical ones revolved around Dips, drops etc (look at the Ealing Ceroc Face book site)
Maja's were more Latiny, for instance she did a double workshop on Tango/Jive fusion. She also did a double trouble workshop. Vicky's workshops were much quicker and funkier and I particularly liked her Cha, Cha/Jive fusion and musicality workshops.

All the workshops were of a very high standard. I do not normally attend workshops or lessons but on this holiday you tend to get tip top teachers designing workshops around their best/favourite moves. In addition almost all the attendees of are a high standard so all in all the workshops are well worth doing.

The 2009 holiday is planned for the 21-28 September and if you book before the end of November the price is only £450 to include the flight. You can check all the details up on www.clubdanceholidays.com or follow the link though via the ceroc national events option on most ceroc websites.

For a more general comment on the holiday look at the my very first post which set the thread up.

Personally I have not been on a JA holiday but everybody I know who has have had a great time. I am still toying with the idea of going in December to the Canary Islands but I am waiting to see who the teachers are going to be.

I am sure whatever holiday you choose you will both have a great time.

AND finally thanks for changing the weekend poll to include Jay Jay's options.
