I'm feeling your pain, DTS. Man Flu is a killer! Women just don't realise how serious it is. Give me child birth or periods any day!!!
Now why is it that only us, poor suffering, men only ever get Man Flu and you lovely gorgeous women only ever get a very slight case of the sniffles?
This last week I have been suffering, as only a Man can, but heroicley soldiering on in the best traditions of Mankind.
yet women seem not to get the severe symptons that us Men allways seem to catch.
What's all that about then?
As I shuffle across my flat with, the back of the left hand on my forehead and my right arm extended out in a dramatic gesture, being a drama queen and saying "Wohw is me." I realise that it is only a miracle of modern medicine that I have survived this terrible infection and shall soon rejoine the human race.
WOMEN getting it easy again. Oh how I wish I was an hairdresser.

Poor, poor DTS!
How you must have suffered!
I'm with Lory on this one....might as well end it here.
Nobody should have to go through that kind of suffering!

OH OH Wwohw, how do you spell it? Is me.
Went to Luton last night and had an ok night, not my perky self really and today I am suffering yet again.
Slipped down into the pit of despair and suffering once again, suppose to be going to ijig tonight mit Batgirl but alas, the suffering is too great, even for me.
I shall retire to my bed and suffer in a manner which brings credit to the phrase....Man Flu.
If this is my last post, as I may not make the morning, bury me in a small leafy, sun blessed corner of Wales.
Farewell my fellow forumites and dance loving comerades.
Ps if I do die please somebody remember me kindly to the MASTER, ie the lovely David Bailey....Bless you MASTER.
Sorry to hear that you were not feeling yourself on Friday. You put up an impressive show in spite of this . Hope you get better soon, x
I think that we should all go down on our knees and praise a man for coming out like this and baring his soul in this manner. Only a chap that was totally in touch with the softer aspects of himself could possibly do so in such eloquence. And when that man is an ex-soldier and a scaffolder to boot it fills you with confidence that even those professions that are supposedly roughy-toughy are full of sensitive guys that sacrifice themselves daily for the benefit, nay pleasure, of others
He should get a medal - or was that another thread............
As a Luton Town supporter the last time I had a ok night with them was Little Woods cup cira 1988
Re man flu , there is a easy test
If you have a cold and someone leaves you £20 note in your garden you will get out of bed and get it
If you have Flu you wouldn’t
So question is how many £20 notes do you have in your garden ?
"Woe".
I'm feeling your pain, mate. The deadly man-flu is the most unpleasant condition any man can suffer.
I mean, you're obviously delirious as well. How else do you explain putting "sun blessed" and "Wales" in the same sentence?
