I love it. A scam email wanting to fight scam and lottery imposters. Do they go and bang their heads against a wall or something?Originally Posted by A received email this morning

It's not only lotteries that I have been fortunate to win, as i havn't even entered ---- RESULT!!!
I have also discovered that people in Africa are very very lovely and trusting people.
I regularly get emails from people in Africa telling me that their late father has a fortune and that they want to give ME thousands of pounds to take care of it!! How very sweet and trusting of them. Little angels.
In fact, I may just cash in on all this and go and live the high life in the Bahamas

Come to think of itI am so wealthy now, why do I need I need to bother myself with petty things like this forum and dancing folk
Goodbye peasant people

Real scams are far more suttle me thinks
Anyway that’s fairly racist , Im sure not all African people are bad / untrusting low life
Should you wish to put a £10 in to help my local group, 'remove stereo types from Africa' , the account is?

Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley has received an offer to buy the Club from a Nigerian source.
He received an email which read:
"Dear Friend,
My late husband was foreign minister of Nigeria, and on his death he deposited USD15,000,000 in a bank account. In order to recover this money I need to deposit these funds for a short time in a European bank account. Please send me your bank account details as you are a kind man....!"
I do have an awaiting claim from Readers Digest for $30,000
I am not a greedy man, just forward me $10,000 and I will send onto you the "awaiting claim".
Don't think PaulF claimed that all Africans were like this..... And he never called anyone bad or untrusting (I assume you mean untrustworthy?) low life. It was a sarcastic/tongue in cheek post.
But let's face it, how many of us have had these emails from Africa, offering us millions if we just send a few thousand to cover legal fees, etc? I've certainly had quite a few - I think I get a couple every month! So that surely means there's a lot of generous and trusting people in Africa, no?![]()
