Hogmany is very tempting! When I was up in Scotland over the summer Sheena was telling me all about it! Will have to see what others are up to but sounding like it could be a good choice!

Thought i would bring this thread back from the dead seeing as the New Years Eve night is only 4 weeks away now.

After much deliberation and chewing of the options we have decided that the best place to be this year for us is Sara Whites New Years Eve Ball. She has also had the idea of allowing children to come for those that are stuck with the kids. (older children).

Now... wot to wear, thats the next problem. !!! LOL

    cant wait.

Where are we all going then guys and gals.?

Re: New Year's Eve this year....

I've got a ticket for the Black and White ball at Watford Collesium on NYE.

I'm a bit worried about it though. When I got home I realised it has a pink felt tip mark on it, but in the box with the Mars male symbol on - not the female Venus box.

Is it still valid for a female?

Do the men have a blue felt tip mark?

Also I want to stay for Rocky's set at the end.

Can anyone offer me a lift back to London. Anywhere in London will do.

My ticket has a blue felt tip mark on it - vaguely in the right box....

It also came with a personalised note.

I'll see the two of you there. Hopefully I'll be fully recovered and back to normal dancing by then.

I'm there....and thanks to Sara's idea of non dancing tickets at a knock down price and kids welcome (...on a tight leash) my hubby and two boys will also be attending. New Year with the family AND I GET TO DANCE!

SW's is tempting but it is quite a long journey. To be honest I'm not sure what I'll be doing so it will be down to last minute decisions I guess.

Me, Jacqui and a few others I know are going to Dance Deamon's Hogmanay Ball in Portobello Town Hall. It's the only place we know for sure that we'll get plenty of opportunity to get some WCS in
