The signs of too many nights out on the dancefloor !!!

OK folks I got home tonight and realised I have a jive addict problem

    1) Littered across my lounge are jive fliers everywhere from venues

    2) The latest jive DVD sits on top of the player instead of on the shelf

    3) My Grey Jive bag complete with my shoes and hygene kit sits on the sofa.

    4) The washing needs completing, Ironing needs doing,

    5) The bathroom needs a clean

    6) Paperwork needs to be caught up on

I am a tidy person by nature, to cap it all I am now posting in this forum at 02:30 am (I slept earlier this evening)!

Something needs to be done, but does anyone else have similar scenarios ?

    I had a problem with a '5 night' a week addiction.

Apart from getting hitched with a non ceroc partner not sure what the cure is.

I wonder what the 'addiction' rate is with ceroc and what constitutes a cerocholic ? Would they deny they were ?

I would like to think I have now found a 'balance' but if my sister was to marry and had a reception when a ceroc freestyle was on the choice maybe difficult

Of course the argument I don't do ceroc in the morning doesn't work

Been there. My brother got married recently. And he chose the day of the Scottish Ceroc Champs to do it. When the invitation arrived saying that the wedding was a Pagan ceremony and they wouldn't feel bad if people didn't come I thought this was an excuse for going dancing in Scotland instead. I'd made my mind up to go dancing and had started to investigate flights, etc.

Sue, my wife, reasoned with me. She asked me, 'would you have gone to the wedding if there wasn't any dancing?'. Of course my answer was 'yes' as I thought it would be fun. So I was caught out, yet again, lying to myself like some addict to get another dancing fix

Still, I've got Camber this weekend so I might only go dancing twice of the 4 available nights this week. I've got meetings the other 2 nights, but if they finish early maybe I can get out dancing...

Yep, when you start to panic cos you forgot to get the washing on early enough to get the dance clothes dry, and you end up using the hairdryer on your clothes as well as your head

Yes often had the damp tee-shirt situation and I have a dryer at home

Find using the car heater helps (regardless of the weather)

I've told people before its not sweat the shirt hasn't dried off, they often look preplexed

Well I am about the same I am totally addicted. I am Dancing 5-6 nights a week at the moment. I have even been rearranging my shifts and taking time owing so I can leave an hour earlier to make it to my venues on time! (good job I got plenty of time owed to me hey) and as well as that I am at college 1 day a week so I get to go dancing every Monday now.
I am naturally a VERY tidy person but due to this now hecktic schedule I have let it slip (just a little mind you).

But she'll do it for you if you ask

Two loads of ironing waiting at home after the LAs Palmas holiday ..............but I'm not as bad as I used to be. Sometimes I only dance twice a week but been so busy lately ( danced 9 nights out of 10 during my mid term break and then 7 nights in a row at L.P.) that I'm actually looking forward to a relaxing weekend so I can clean the flat properly and chill out with Fran.

Trying to get some balance in my life
