And Rob D, it would be good to see you there.
if you are coming why not recommend some tracks to the dj's?
Actually that's a really good idea.. Rob give us your top 20 blues/COZ tunes and we'll see what we think. Can't be fairer than that can we?

I'd like to recommend a train track, some thick rope and a gag for Rocky

Now then, the cynical might suggest that you're using this as a way to get access to some good new music which would be a bit rich given your reluctance to publish Utopia playlists. But I'm not cynical so I won't. I have occasionally suggested a track as suitable for Utopia to your partner in crime, some of which he's played, some of which he hasn't thought suitable. There's no denying that you probably already do play many of my favourites but I'll have a think and maybe list a few tomorrow - whether you'll consider them COZ-friendly is a different matter.

(where's CJ's latest Mariachi playlist, I need some inspiration....)

I've put myself down as a mid person- depends how the feet hold out- but I could stay later if I'm in the zone

    Lovely venue though.

I love to tick, 'I'll be an all nighter' but the weird fact is, I can dance all night long but the minute I get behind the wheel to drive home, my eyes won't stay open!

Its a shame that the same thing doesn't happen when I hit my bed at a weekender!

I might look at booking a hotel, although, it does seem a bit daft to book a hotel, that you might potentially only be in for 3 hours

No, genuine interest. On occasion you appear to be such a difficult person to please it would be interesting to see what really, really floats your boat.

Dave, what's happened to you!! In the past, if I'm honest, I used to dislike the way you posted, but in recent weeks you've made me absolutely roar with laughter. It's almost like you've blossomed from a tubby caterpilllar into a beautiful butterfly dancing hither and thither..

And no, that doesn't mean I'll dance with you, so stop asking..

I'm quite easy to please in some respects

Music-wise, as you noted in a previous post, the general attitude with which you approach a night can affect your perception of the music. If you are really feeling good in your own dancing it can enhance your opinion of the music and vice versa. Maybe it's just me that feels that way

I didn't really think you were trying to get any new stuff either. I am sure you and Vince (and all the DJs in that same scene) spend way, way more time seeking out new music than I and I am pretty sure most everything I list you will either have played somewhere or auditioned and discarded but I'll do a list regardless. I don't envy any of the DJs who have to find that balance between popular, known tracks and newer material knowing that the perception of people will be much more strongly shaped by the (likely fewer) tracks that they do not like than the ones that they do enjoy.

    Re: 12 hour Utopia freestyle!

Okay, here's 20 tracks that I would love to hear at Utopia Twisted tomorrow. It's not necessarily my top 20 COZ tracks as I have more than 20 faves and my tastes change over time.
In no particular order other than how I came across them in my iTunes

    4 Minutes
Falling For You - Heather Hedley
Feedback (remix) - Janet & Ciara
    Lovestoned
Feel Like Making Love - Marlene Shaw(?)
    Me & U (remix) - Cassie
    Break The Ice - Britney
    Say It Right
Way Down Deep - Jennifer Warnes
    Narrow Daylight
She Will Be Loved (acoustic) - Maroon 5
Lost In You - Garth Brooks
Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow - Inger Marie Gundersen
They Don't Want Music - BEP
Skin on Skin - Sarah Connor (ok, it probably is too slow )
Give Me The Night (chill mix) - Randy Crawford
My First, My Last, My Everything - Peter Grant
    Sexy 17
    Bad Mamma Jamma
Islands In The Stream - Katie & Peter (I'm serious, I love this )
