Another pre-poll thread, this time for the weekend of 12th/13th/14th September (for people to suggest events they're interested in, before the moderators make it into a poll in advance of the weekend itself).

If you want an event to be in the poll, mention it on this thread, and please use the format as described by Lory below. Don't leave it to the last minute - the moderators usually seem to create the poll around Tuesday, so it's helpful if events can be mentioned on here before then.

Genevieve and I are having a real 80's Rock n Roll time this weekend. Last ever British concert by the Stray Cats tonight (Stray Cat Strut, Rock This Town) and the Jets on Saturday (Love Makes the World Go around, Yes, Tonight Josephine) and tdance this Sunday.

Just for info, MJ-ive was advertised a couple of weeks ago when nothing was on uk-jive for the South Midlands area and so we filled the 'gap'. As a Charity dance venue we have tried very hard not to clash with other people's events.

Well... there's a wee dancing event just down the road that I might take a peek at, heard that its event of the year and run by two fabulous guys who cater for what dancers really want. There might be a few others there as well. Now what's it called....??? That's it Southport.. Jiving you Wild...Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
