I'm with Minnie on this one. We were given a marrow by allotmenteering friends who are overcome with marrows. Cut in half, scoop out seeds, place in baking dish. Fill with a yummy fried up mixture of: onions, garlic, lamb mince, cumin, chili, coriander (fresh), thyme (fresh), tin tomatoes and a good handful of couscous. Sprinkle with grated cheddar. Surround with chopped up butternut squash. Put whole thing in oven for an hour at 180deg C.
Tasted delicious!
Also seen very yummy sounding recipes for marrow, chili & ginger jam/chutney.
Interested to know about the microwaving thing, I wouldn't have thought of doing it so simply. Will ask for another marrrow and test it out!
