I didn't realise how tall Jodie is! She's over 6ft!
I think this is going to be a very competitive pair & I'm looking forward to seeing how they get on. Especially when they're up against Lisa Snowdon & Brendan Cole.
As others have already pointed out, there are some fellers who are easy on the eye too. I'd not really heard of Tom Chambers before, but with his looks, ability & musicality he's got to be worth a shout.
Karen Hardy's the best teacher there, in my opinion. So I'd say she & Gary Rhodes have a good chance of getting quite far. Lillia is also a good teacher, but I fear Don Warrington might be a bit too old to keep up with the demanding schedule.
I can't wait for this series to come out... they're saying it's going to be the best one yet.
Something else to feast my eyes on I suppose and pick out a whole collection of refreshing moves.
You can see who's going to win it already - my bets are on:
- Rachel Stevens and Vincent Simone
- Jessie Wallace and Darren Bennett
- Tom Chambers and Camilla Dollerup.

Ooh, the first preview show is on the 13th, only 2 weeks to go
I find the 'lack of popular vote' comment hilarious. Three girls in my house (out of three) have already decided to vote for Tom Chambers, and the others haven't even seen him dance yet.
I can hardly bring myself to say it (since he's dancing with Camilla, arch-rival of any non-blonde dancer anywhere), but I'd like to see him win.
Pah, you women are so shallow
Hmmm, shall I add a poll to this thread?
You may be right about Tom, Tessa.
Looking at DigitalSpy, the various "appreciation" thread counts are:
- Matthew Cutler & Christine Bleakley Appreciation - 186 posts
- Flavia Cacace & Phil Daniels appreciation thread - 118
- Tom Chambers - 88
- Don Warrington and Lilia Kopylova Appreciation - 83
- Mark Foster Appreciation Thread - 75
- Rachel Stevens and Vincent Simone... - 45
- Jessie Wallace and Darren Bennett Appreciation - 44
- The Erin Boag Appreciation Thread - 15
- The John Sergeant and Kristina Rihanoff appreciation thread - 15
- Official Heather Small Appreciation Thread - 8
So there's some evidence that Tom's more popular than I thought.

But before you start, will the poll be a "who's your favourite?", or a "who do you want to win?" or a "who was best this week?" or even "who do you think will be going this week?"
And then, will we need to change our votes every week? Maybe, (as DJB suggested last year), we could have a weekly thread. We could even use it for the spoiler stuff! (Please, Franck, can we have a spoiler tag this year? )
See - I bet you DJB wouldn't have thought of all that!
