    Help - dancing in Malaysia

As some of the members on this forum are well travelled, have you come across Ceroc / modern jive in Malaysia (KL)?

I am going to be based there for most of September and would appreciate any pointers as to locations to continue my dancing.

    Thanks in advance
    Dave

I didn't find any modern jive in KL but there is a really nice, if small, tango community. They are lovely people and very welcoming so please say "Hi" from Jon from Exeter if you are in contact with them.

Even if AT isn't your thing I'm sure Marguerite (info@tangomalaysia.com) would be pleased to advise you about other dance styles.

Have fun and be sure to ride an elephant into the river at the Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary; it's the absolute best! Hire a car and drive there yourself rather than joining a tour and borrow some kids to take if you can - it's a magical day out.
