    Berkhamsteds floor

    Hi all,
I went to Berko on Sunday and the floor has a massive great hump from one end of the room to the other. A great shame on such a lovely sprung wooden floor.

A 3rd of the dance area was lost due to this problem. It was a nightmare in a normaly very busy dance floor, many went home early (battered too).

Anyone know how long before this is likely to be resolved/is there going to be an alternative venue?

    Many thanks
    Alex

Hammersmith had a sticky floor on Saturday.

The Saturday before that I went to Ealing - another sticky floor.

I don't know, it was terrible wasn't it?

I'm afraid I'm going to have to give my beloved Berko a miss, till its sorted out. I couldn't take anther night like Sunday

I spoke to poor Ian (who runs Berko) and he told me he'd thought of canceling but it would gave been too short notice, so he just did the best he could under circumstances!

I hope its fixed very soon

Just letting you all know that Berkhamsted / Berko is closed this Sunday 17th Aug 08 whilst the floor maintenance continues.

Many thanks to those who were there last sunday and made the best of the difficult circumstances. Ian
