Dont worry, its only the jealousy of missing what sounded like a great night. Good news tho.... foot stopped weeping.
Shame you missed it, but glad your foot is getting better!

Yup - t'was me in the neck brace. Thanks to all those lovely ladies who had gentle dances with me - by heck I'm unfit

Oh and Hev Mate - the neck brace is a bit of a clue - best not to bash people round the head who are wearing them, eh!! Still, no harm done, I think

Iv had more time for it to sink in and what a fab night it was better than expected.

The music was awesome and my dances were just brill I felt on top form the whole night went in a flash, can't wait for the next one its worth the drive from Stafford I feel that this is MY local venue matter how far away it is I won't be missing anymore.

Had a great night - although my dancing was rubbish, I really enjoyed the music.

It's so frustrating when everything is right but it just doesn't happen . That said I did have some dances with some fantastic dancers as always at Utopia.

Would some kind soul be able to tell me what the fast song was at the end of the night - I really enjoyed it but I can only remember some of the lyrics and it's bugging me!

    Re: Utopia Twickenham

Having been on a self-enforced rationing of my dancing schedule since Southport (it's only when you stop going dancing so often that you realise just how much money you spend on it ) this weekend was getting back to business as usual. Utopia on Friday was a really good night. We arrived a bit later than usual and I had to hit the floor even before changing my shoes as the killer combo of 'Easy' and '4 Minutes' came on. Despite the astonishment from certain forumites at my increased girth I then pretty much had three hours of excellent dances. I bought a pint at midnight and it was still full on the table when the last song rolled around, an indication of my inability to leave the floor for more than a quick towel down. It did get very hot but there were fans and if I choose to go dancing non-stop indoors in a long sleeve shirt in August perhaps it's no great surprise that I got a wee bit warm

Thanks (I think ) - great dances - see you at Southport

I had an absolutely superb for the majority (with a minor blip moment*) night
    * no ones fault but my own

Music was spot on and with several full-on moments, I'm quivering just at the memories...

Off to book my ticket for the next one now....

A big thank you to Rocky, Silver Fox and the lovely Val for putting on another great event.

    Re: Utopia Twickenham

Friday night was my first time at Utopia and i have to say, what a great event! I didn't get there until 11, but it was nice to see so many people I knew already and a very pleasant surprise to see some I didn't expect. I barely left the dance floor for the two hours I was there, and had some amazing dances - I won't mention names in case I leave some people out! I really wish I had been able to get there earlier, though, as I missed out on dancing with a few people I hadn't seen for a while. I can't wait for the next one now!

    Re: Utopia Twickenham

Twickers Utopia just keeps getting better and better

I know I am a little biased - but I love the fact that the 'boys' slightly change the music each time, and the fact that there are always virgin dancers (and very good ones too) and from all over the UK - it all adds to the atmospher

Last night was particularly warm not sure why, the air conditioning was full on, and there were the usual amount of fans (too many hot bodies maybe )

    - however it wasn't raining to it gave time for a chat outside whilst cooling off. Floor craft could have been a little better (maybe it was the heat).

Total to Rocky, Foxy and the beautiful Val

    Roll on the 14th November

PS: Was lovely seeing Sexy Stokey and Gorgeous Twirly Bird
