but Britain was always run from London so its fairly obvious why English nationalism tries to keep up with Welsh and Scottish rather than leading the way.
So that when English people (e.g. football hooligans) do something bad, they can hide behind the Brittish banner. Or when Scots do something good (er, struggling for an examle here), they also can be part of a great British victory...
Anyway, why is there no "white-immigrant" option for Poles, Scandinavians, Aussies, etc here...??

Growing up I was called English, in later years I have been called many things!
