A bit more scary stuff -

They sometimes use women to gain children's confidence.

They sometimes work in groups -

For instance there was a peodophile ring working in Hackney Children's Social Services back in the 1980's.

They were helping each other get jobs.

I'm not sure how long it operated for, but one of the social workers, Mark Trotter (from Liverpool) died of an AIDS related disease.

So you can see how "normal" and integrated into society these people can be. They don't stand out as peodophiles

Public places where paedophiles hang out -

Near schools - especially at opening/closing time

    Swimming pools. Lidos

    toy shops

    children's clothes shops

    parks

playgrounds - in London lone adults (male or female) are not allowed in children's playgrounds unless accompanied by children.

    libraries

    cinemas

    fun fairs

    beaches
I think you are beginning to state the obvious.

It might be my fault... I stated the obvious up front... paedophiles do sometimes work in groups... they often do not have a "normal relationship" ... they often try to cover up the fact... The head of the paedophile ring might issue a document to those involved, to ensure it is not uncovered... It could also be covered up under an overall banner of respectability.

Here is a quick question -
If you were part of an organisation where crimes against children are commited, and you got told to be a part of a cover up, for the sake of the organisation... would you do it?

I think, if you were part of the cover up, you are no better than the person doing the deed.

Does this make the person in the Catholic chuch who ordered the cover up, just as guilty as the person doing the deed?

    Here is a clip
"The Pope played a leading role in a systematic cover-up of child sex abuse by Roman Catholic priests, according to a shocking documentary to be screened by the BBC tonight.

In 2001, while he was a cardinal, he issued a secret Vatican edict to Catholic bishops all over the world, instructing them to put the Church's interests ahead of child safety.

The document recommended that rather than reporting sexual abuse to the relevant legal authorities, bishops should encourage the victim, witnesses and perpetrator not to talk about it. And, to keep victims quiet, it threatened that if they repeat the allegations they would be excommunicated."

Now does that seem to you a caring person, or the head of a paedophile ring?

Are the Bishops at fault for not standing up and saying "No way!"

Is the current Pope at fault for being a co-conspiritor for child abuse?

Leading on from that - should the Pope be in Jail for this, and should his Bishops who did not make a stand join him?

This could be seen as shock horror... Thing is, if a guy leads a cover-up of crimes... should he be accountable in the sytem of law?

    I'd be a whistle blower.

I would feel ill working alongside people who were harming children or shielding the harmers.

So i wouldn't care if I lost my job through whistle blowing. I wouldn't just quit the job and keep quite. I'd try and do as much damage to the cover up from inside before being fired.

Anyway bad karma will always catch up with you eventually.

I think i must have read it on the tube as can't find the article and have forgotton which agency gave out the information.

Makes you think though, what percentage of male teachers are peodophiles?

These guys can even gets their kicks from watching Blue Peter,(apparently they video it and pass it around in prison) so being in close contact with 30 kids all day would be rather stimulating, even if they don't touch them in a sexual manner.

Reading this again I pictured the entire English department of my old school, clustered round a portable in the staffroom, drooling over Simon Groom's marvellous pair of knockers.

The clue's in the theme tune - "Sailor's Hornpipe". I mean, come on - the Bat Signal's less subtle.
