Why are gay men so attractive (to women)?

Ever since Gok Wan first appeared on t.v. I thought he was lovely (although I did briefly think he was a woman ). I thought I was alone in this but increasingly he seems to be one of the most popular men on t.v. and women seem to flirt with him . What is this about? Also, can he really be as nice as he seems on t.v. or is it just a persona?

P.S. I am on holiday and a bit bored!

I bake, I like musicals, I dance, I hate sports, cry like a girly at soppy movies, remember birthdays, understand personal grooming, and considerate, polite and well spoken. I also have a number of Gay friends and I could often be seen in the gay bars and clubs in Aberdeen socialising with them.

Was propositioned once when I was in there, Guy offered to buy me a drink I said I was just buying some for my friends but thanks. He asked are you with anyone? I looked puzzled and said “erm.. my friends” .. no he replied am I WITH anyone. I blushed and went “ah! Erm.. no but erm.. I’m straight.. sorry” and he looked me up an down in that way that only gay men can and said.. “hmm.. Pity!”

I have been accused of being gay a few times since then.. Hmm I wonder why?

Interesting ..... what are you trying to suggest? When it comes to people you know personality is obviously most important. However, if it is just down to looks I think really slender, almost boyish(but not Butch) looking women are most attractive - i.e. not Jordan or Pamela Anderson - they just look scary to me! I think Kiera Knightley is really good looking but she isn't butch is she?

I think gay men are not a threat to women. They tend not to want to pinch your bottom or sleaze over you.

Tend to have dress sense, know about fashion and will know about the top story in Heat magazine.

They will look at your dress and really give you informed feed back. ‘Understand’ your nail and shampoo problem.

What makes them better then a women friend is they can also lift like men and do DIY bits and pieces, so winner all round really

Of course I can’t to any of the above so I can’t be gay so must be ugly
