When I'm working from home? Yes, all the time I just hope I never get caught.
The following guy (Polish) is a street sweeper who seems to be having 15 minutes of fame through dancing:
Dancing street sweeper becomes cult hero - Telegraph
Has anyone seen him? I reckon he would enjoy a night out at Ceroc/MJ.
He looks pretty fit for 47 - and enjoying it as well.......
Do you ever take the opportunity to "dance on the job"?
When I'm working from home? Yes, all the time I just hope I never get caught.
I remember when I was working at a firm of solicitors and I was taking ballroom lessons at the time. We got to the stage in latin where we were learning how to move our hips properly.. and whilst I was in the toilets thought I'd have a bit of a wiggle when I had my hands over the sink.. imagine how red the reflection of my face looked in the mirror when someone quietly walked in behind my me.
I've never had a wiggle in the toilets, and if I did it wouldn't look nearly as good from behind as I'm sure Donna did, but I was caught practising salsa footwork in the side of the work restaurant the other week. I did feel a bit foolish but strangely I have no such fears about sometimes doing turn patterns as I walk around Tesco, which really annoys my wife even although she dances too.
I taught an armjive to one of our cabin crew in the forward galley of an aeroplane - it was on the ground at the time...
I have danced on the job...
I used to work for a training company, 2 of the other trainers were dancers and one consultant also danced.
Seeing as one of the other trainers was a MJ teacher, we used to work out routines in the hall way, in break times.
The consultant taught funk... so I was often seen with her doing isolations and body rolls.
The funniest "caught you" was me practicing isolations and the lift doors opening, to my boss standing there, with a big grin.
LOL I dance in the evenings when working away from home...if I danced in my company's central office in Herts, my reputation as the group's "lovable token geek" would only be strengthened!
I practice ballroom steps on railway platforms. You do get some funny looks at times.
I practise body rolls and isolation in the toilets at work as they have a fab full length mirror (without all the coats/clothes that I have hanging on mine at home!).
Always have an ear out for anyone coming in though as it could be v embarrassing
My mates at work have asked me to teach them some moves, but as yet I have never got around to it. One guy, who has now left, used to use me to try show the team a bit of ballroom he had learned. The admin team have the radio on in the day ,and when I go into their office I will strut a little hip movenent and a side to side boogie if I like the music playing.
And why not indeed ? Dance anywhere its free, and it lightens a very busy and otherwise serious day.
if you love the life you live then you'll get a lot more done
I'm sure these are somewhere else already...

*Work being the construction site of the Clyde Arc, then known as the Finnieston (or Squinty) Bridge
I quite often can be seen spinning on top of a scaffolding at various locations in London and neighbouring counties.
