I am new to this site. I hope I am posting to the right place. I dance in Japan but will be in the Dundee area the end of July to the middle of August.

I wonder if there are any events coming up? If so could somebody be kind enough to tell me where , when , how much etc.

There's dancing in Dundee every Monday night (Invercarse Hotel, Perth Road), and every Wednesday night (Friary).

Depending on when you arrive, there are several parties happening in Scotland. We have the beach ballroom event in Aberdeen on the last weekend of July. As well as a party on the Saturday night in Edinburgh.

As Dep has said, there is a party night in Dundee on the 2nd August.

And I imagine that there'll be a party in Glasgow on the 9th August too.

I'm the DJ at the Monday night, and I'll be teaching the ice-breaker and DJing at both the Edinburgh party and the Dundee party, and DJing the Sunday night in Aberdeen. So come and say hello

Hi and welcome CheekyTink,
Like you - I'm a newbee to the forum. I don't know about Dundee ... however, as it's been suggested - your best to check out the poll for Who's going where weekend of Fri/Sat/Sun for the appropriate date. The poll is posted on the Tuesday before the weekend. The forum is a good place to get to meet virtually before you get to meet in person. (I find that most dance evenings, one doesn't have time to chat ... too busy dancing!)
