would those "English Tw*ts" include one of John's invited DJs or the English dance teachers who are making the treck because I've told them how welcoming the Scotts are?

Don't be offended guys....Brian's a Scouser, so I think his comment about English tw*ts was tongue in cheek......but it will be great to see our friends from south of the border. Three guest DJs on Friday so I can get lots of birthday dances.. Neil Crosby ( Crossa), Cool cat Gus, and Pete " Dr Chill " Stanton from Wetherby, and I'll be doing my top 10 blues room tracks to finish off.....oh! and there's cake too

Thanks John, it was a joke that only those who know me would understand (given my nationality), it wasn't meant to offend those who don't.
The biggest laugh is that I've just had a bad rep from an anonymous member accusing me of racism

Since when has being English, Scottish, Welsh or Irish (ie: British) a race rather than a nationality?

    See you Friday

Absolutely gutted - wanted to be at RH&B for the Demon's 50th but just too damn much work to do so can't afford the Friday off to make the journey up. John, sorry to be missing what is always a brilliant night.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay on the Saturday night, the Sky Lodges are only 2 minutes walking distance from the venue, and are great value.

Interesting question - on Sunday I had a chat with a long time 'Chesham-ite' - as I too have not been for a long time.

I used to go there quite a bit - now it seems that Cheshunt is the 'happening' place - and the vibe/atmosphere there is imho is superior.

Of course at Chesham - if Lawrence was on the decks then that would be a big plus - not sure who DJs there these days.

    ------------------

Plus for the poll (unless already there):

iJig - Hatfield Hutton Hall (I think you can dress up a stag/hen party)

No dancing this Saturday - going to see "The Taming of the Shrew" in the Abbey Ruins in Reading. Hopefully it won't rain.
