Don't they have a habit of removing offending body parts?
British woman facing jail after allegedly having sex on Dubai beach - or as on of the tabloids I noticed in the supermarket tonite put it:
"Boozed up brunette banged up for bunk-up on beach" (or something close to that).
I wonder what will happen. I think 6 years (is that the max.) would be a bit harsh. Of course, there is the issue about respecting the laws of a country in which is 'hosting' you.
Of course, it seems that the newspapers just focus on the 'brunette' - isn't they guy also facing charges? (I think he is in one report I read).
Don't they have a habit of removing offending body parts?
No that'll probably be Saudi Arabia; I understand that they still do stoning there. The mistake this woman did was to have s"x on the beach - if she'd stayed around the hotel/apartment area, there wouldn't have been too many problems.
I spent a bit of time working out there - the locals are happy enough for you to get drunk discreetly in the hotel bars/serviced apartment complexes; the mistake she made was to behave like that in a public area.
Well, yeah. Story here:
BBC NEWS | UK | Woman arrested for 'sex on beach'
She was drunk, she was having sex in public, and she assaulted a police officer. In Dubai.
Some people may be too stupid to be let out by themselves.
I heard that the police had come along spotted them, warned them and asked them to move on etc etc.
The police came back a while later and lo and behold they were still at it.
If someone gives you a chance like that don't you say "Thank you" and go indoors and shag?
If you read the individual newspaper reports, they were given a warning and asked to move on.
The decision was made not to heed the warning.
When the officer came back, he had little choice left.
Of course she knew better, having worked there for 3 years.
If you blantantly disrespect the culture/laws of the country where you decide to live - and do it in public - get given a chance to modify your behaviour or "take it indoors" - continue to be disrespectful - then what do you expect to happen?
In fact, a lot of respect for the arresting officer who did not imediately arrest them, but gave them a chance.
What did he get for his troubles - he got assaulted!
thought better of it . How do I delete?

as usual the negs are afraid to out themselves.
As usual, you are too tight to contribute to the forum 6 pounds to become a silver member and help Franck run the forum.
If you do, you will find out who reps you...
Go on... you can do it... part with a few squids and help, rather than whine.
On a serious note, it costs to keep the forum going, so why not give a little back.
BTW - it was not me
