Really??? I thought they were running to the bull ring? Now correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that was where they were tortured and goaded before being ritually slaughtered in front of a crowd baying for blood.

If some people 'get off' on seeing defenseless animals being butchered for fun then so be it
There the kind of people who would thing it funny shooting cats with air rifles

    I'd watch the attached though

    Maybe a slight over-generalisation?

I don't think you can count your average package holidayer who doesn't visit the bull-fighting or bull-running as supporting the sport/entertainment/public-slaughter.

Indeed - I've been to Northern Ireland dozens of times, does that make me a supporter of the IRA?

No thats "Britains Got Talent" you're thinking of.

Anyway, you are all missing the point, the Bulls are being culled - there are a LOT of China shops in Pamplona and they must be protected.

According to Wikipedia, since it started there have been 15 human deaths, the last one being in 1995. Before that the last one was 1980 when there were two killed.

Running of the Bulls - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

BBC NEWS | Magazine | The last person killed at Pamplona

In the mornings the bulls are run through the streets, then in the afternoons, they are slaughtered in the bullring.

I don't agree with everything PETA stands for, but this sounds like much more fun...
