I must admit, I haven't a clue about the answer to this one. This thread was inspired by the following exchange;
And I got to thinking. What is a "real man"? Am I one? Could I ever be with careful training from a woman who knows? It is how you look? Or is it what you do? Or is it, as I suspect, what you don't do? Come on girls, do tell?

Someone who doesn't even think about this sort of question, as they are who they are and don't need anyone else to tell them how to be - comfortable in their own skin, happy to laugh, cry, get angry, be affectionate, or whatever else they want to do without worrying about other people's opinions.
A 'real man' IMO is a dominant man who is comfortable and at ease with his own masculinity.
He is not a wimp but he does not feel the need to act aggressive, bullying or macho to prove he is a man.
Oh dear..... I guess someone's got to do this..... (Wooosh).
Right, my dears. Real Men have an appendage between their legs called a penis. Women do not commonly have this, unless they've been shopping in places like Ann Summer's. This also goes under a plethora of other names (for examples of these names, look up the lyrics to that most informative of songs 'The Penis Song' by Monty Python).
The penis is also believed to be the home of the man's brain - at least this is what the man most commonly uses to think with.
Men (even they gay ones, to some extent) also have a complete fascination with a part of the female anatomy called 'breasts' (or boobies, tits etc). This can lead to an awful lot of embarrasing situations and complications, as when the man spots a pair of really nice boobs, there is not space for any rational thinking in the man's brain (see: penis).
Real Men come in all shapes and sizes, and all have one thing in common: They do not understand the female mind. Then again, females have a hard time understanding creatures who carry their brains around in their underpants and can be reduced to drooling wrecks by the sight of two flesh-coloured sacks of mammary glands and fatty tisue. This of course makes relationships between males and females very complex and at times highly volatile, and endless amounts of books have been published on the subject, although nobody's so far been able to solve the mystery of why women are attracted to men in the first place, and it's commonly been put down to 'hormones' or 'chemistry'.
Go figure.
