    Priceless....!

It's all down hill from now. Soon it will be tartan blankets, countdown and adult nappies.

    Vowel please Carol...!
Well at least when you come to really need a mobility scooter you will be able to say - "It's Ok, I've driven one of these before"

Joking aside though I really hope you get better soon. I am sure you have done the right thing and it will turn out to be a really wise decision in the long run - a pain in the foot can be a right pain in the arse if you know what I mean. I know that Dave, whatever he might say on here, will be waiting on you hand and especially foot, not to mention showing off his cooking skills.

Dave - Chin up my son, its just like being back in the army for a while.

    to both of you.

Well considering that cheeky text I just got from Trouble she has certainly not lost her sense of humour.

And as for the motorised trolley, yes priceless if there aren't pics of that then we've been robbed.

Trouble keep pointing that finger and DTS you know you like it really. See you both soooooooon lol

Well guys yes i have suffered with these veruccas on my foot for five years and tried every possible treatment myself and with chiropodist. I went on internet finally when last sunday i went retail shopping with a girlfriend and could not walk. <girls will appreciate that when your retail shopping is suffering you have to do something>.... and i found a chiropodist that offers an electric laser type treatment. So off i toddled. He looked, tutted a bit and said, they are very nasty. Basically i have to burn the whole lot out and the wounds have to heal from the inside out. Its not a bad procedure except for the anaestethic which is not very pleasant.

£300 quid later, i am still suffering shock from the not very pleasant anaestethic which by the way in comparison would be described as similar to having your arm slowly cut off with a blunt knife, i am off work for a week and walking is not possible without using the heel of my foot to walk on and looking very similar to another moment in my life when what i thought was a fart turned out to be something different and giving me a similar walk pattern.

Asda was an experience, yes i was in a motorised three wheel trolley which was bad enough but DTS was saying things to other people like, god she is a burden, dont talk to her she is attention seeking, or shouting, come on hurry up ive got better things to do you know and people would look at him in horror and this would of course give him another opportunity to tell people how he suffers LOL....

So my advice would be guys, if you get a verucca, dont ignore it. i did and now im suffering. Get it treated urgently before it spreads and takes over ya foot.

DTS is out working at moment so im having some trouble struggling to get things like a cup of tea boo hoo, im practicing my finger pointing for when he returns cause i really fancy i nice roast dinner tonight.... LOL...

Laters peeps and thanks for the hugs, kisses and support.

Aww thanks guys, your so sweet.

anyway, quick update for any of you that are remotely interested. Had dressing and packing removed yesterday and a lighter/smaller dressing put on so i can wear a flip flop. Am now moving slowly without any aid/stick or wheelchair motorised or otherwise. Back at work today. Now have to keep it dry, showering with a plastic shopping bag on my foot as you can imagine looks really great..... keep it infection free and let it heal. Been given a time scale of four weeks before i can do activity again. fingers crossed its quicker.

Oh pleeeaassee she is just attention seeking.

Been driving me crazy lately with excessive use of the finger, but is a lot more mobil now and we even went to WCS last night where I was fumbling about on the floor and she was drinking copious amount of alcohol, as usual I may add.

    Bless her.

Oh I say I had 1 pint of lager from Gerry, good man, and then several glasses of water.

On a bit of an economy drive at mo.

I offered Trouble several glasses of free water.
